Proposing ten to twelve fun-filled hours for fifteen dollars, An Elysian Tail is the sole Summer of Arcade entry that’s not to be overlooked.
(Dust: An Elysian Tail, Xbox 360)
A-/A+
I highly enjoyed this game. The reviewer says 10-12 hours, but my playthrough (on Normal) exceeded 17. Just throwing that out there.
I didn't mind the voice acting so much. It will definitely make some people cringe (your sidekick in particular), but it's kind of like an interactive cartoon. Some amusing dialog here and there. If you play it with an open mind, it's not so bad.
There's a nasty bug that throws you to the dashboard at random. Fortunately, this only happened to me one time during my first playthrough. I'm sure it will get patched.
If you're using a gamerpic from GFWL, you'll experience some brief lag after saving. To fix this, change it to one that's stored on your Xbox 360.
