There's every chance you won't like it either, but there is the possibility that it will 'click' for you the way it did for me, and then you'll not have missed an unforgettable game."
I would like to thank the author/contributor for reminding me to pick this amazing game up asap.
I haven't had my ps3 since I moved and this game will be one of the first titles I pick up when I get it back.
As for the story it truly is epic and it draws you in in a way i hadnt experienced since the ps1 jrpg days. I really could go on all day about the stories construction and brilliant execution as it really is brilliant with some of the best written characters and senarios of this and any gen.
If you like jrpgs i urge you to pick this up as if it does "click" with you you will know it any wont regret a second of it. And make sure once you have finished it the first time go back and do the new game+ and ++ for the whole story (you dont start at the beggining)
I dunno if I would say it's the best JRPG on PS3, though. I still prefer Valkyria Chrinocles, as much as I love Nier. But Nier does give Wlekin and crew a run for their money, I'll say that much.
I loved the story and the characters were some of the most original and interesting in gaming, period. I think maybe above all was the easier fact that the game just had a lot of heart, whatever that means (it means something, it's just hard to define).
