CVG - Ninja Gaiden: Razor's Edge: Tecmo's gory slasher all set for Wii U

CVG: "A first aid kit won't be much use to the thousands of goons in Ryu's latest bloodfest, as Team Ninja have decided to treat Wii U owners to a new and improved version of Ninja Gaiden 3 where all your gory dreams of decapitated heads and dismembered torsos come true." (Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge, Wii U)

"Yet the sheer speed of these relentless battles makes the GamePad's on-the-fly weapon changing a pretty useless addition to the gameplay. When your back's against the wall, there simply isn't time to look away, let alone move your hand to the touchscreen, and we found the Wii U Pro Controller to be far more suited to Ryu's non-stop gullet-ripping when push came to an exceedingly bloody shove."

This is why I think the Wii U tablet controller is useless. I honestly hope Sony or MS don't try to make a controller like this for the PS4 or xbox720.

It may be useless for this type of game and maybe to you but if you were purchasing Wii U for this game then I don't know what to tell you, lol.

Of course the WiiU's tablet controller won't be useful for all the games in it's library, it's obvious, just like Move, Wii Remote and Kinect won't be useful for all the games. Heck, even some functions on the Dual Shock aren't useful for some games (like motion sensor).

The tablet controller will be useful for games like ZombiU, Fifa 13, Rayman Legends, RPGs, FPSs etc. So no, it's not useless, it's just not useful for some games.

However, for games where Gamepad isn't necessary you can simply use the Pro Controller and let the Wiiu's Gamepad for the other games.

It's inconvenient for one game, so now the controller is useless in it's entirety? Really?

I thought normal people have the mental capacity to remember where to press on a touchscreen but I guess I was wrong.

Oh ya!
Hardcore, blood & guts - gimmie more plz!

Isn't this the type of game "hardcore gamers" want coming to the Wii U?

*look to the left, then right*

It seems as no ones cares, judging by the artilce's degrees.
