Killzone Mercenary: The Vita’s First Great Shooter

As a mercenary, now fighting on the side of the highest bidder, you’re able to exploit both the ISA and Helghast tactics and loadouts for financial gain. Rewarded with high-tech weaponry, your main objective is to get your contract completed by any means necessary.

But what does this mean for the series and progressive plot? For starters, depending on where KILLZONE Mercernary begins within the KILLZONE universe, this is a great opportunity to integrate more behind the scene story and character development which the series was founded on with the original KILLZONE. Working as a mercenary manipulating both factions by your actions means ISA and Helghast troops could potentially find themselves on the wrong side of your barrel.

I'm so glad that Guerilla Games is developing Killzone: Mercenary. My expectations are high.

The title should say FPS instead of shooter because Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Super Stardust Delta and Unit 13 are great Vita shooters.

I am wondering if the footage shown is that of the Multi Player part of the game; with all the points registering and such. If so, then it is even more impressive. Can't wait for some more info.

Yeah it was definitely the campaign, looks like you can get money by completing missions then buy stuff. Could be sweet and add to the replay value.

I own 80% of the games out on the Vita right now.
But THIS game is the whole reason i bought a Vita in the first place.

Ive been patiently waiting for an announcement. Now comes the hard part: waiting for it to finally hit store shelves.

Heres to hoping that this will only be the first of many KZ games to grace the Vita.

A buy for me when I saw vids and heard they were able to use the same engine as the PS3 version for it on the Vita.
