The Best Retro Video Game Cartoon Intros

"No matter how lazily you spend your Saturdays now, lest you ever forget that there was a time so many years ago when Saturday mornings meant jumping out of bed at 7 AM sharp, bowling over the family pet and plopping yourself in front of the TV for your favorite cartoon shows to come on.

And what about after school way back when? Remember racing back home and tossing your book bag aside just in time for all those afternoon cartoons to start and begging your mom to let you finish watching whatever it was on before you tackled your homework assignments? Remember how almost everyday had a different line up, so you'd plan your sports and club activities around when so and so was on?

Things may have changed in the 10 or 20 years since we've been kids, but the memories remain. So in celebration of our childhood years, here are some of the catchiest and/or most memorable video game cartoon intros from that bygone era." ~ RantGaming.com (Culture, Double dragon, Earthworm Jim, Kid Icarus, Mega Man, Metroid, Pole Position, Retro, Street Fighter 2, Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda)
