Take a look at some of the past leaks, rumors and details regarding the PS4, Wii U and Xbox 720 over the past six months. Take a more humorous approach to viewing the subject.
PUMPED... for PS4
We're not even into the new generation and we already have fanboys... (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻
Guilty. Hey, I bought an Ouya, if that counts.
im pumped as well. cant wait to get to play with all three systems. i'll be a gamer till i die
Bring it. Let us start enjoying the next gen ASAP. Life is short. Time is a wasting. To those of you who say there is still plenty of life/power left in the current gen with all the great titles coming out...well sure, who says you have to stop playing and enjoying the current gen. They will continue to release ports to the old gen if the new gen were available right now. You don't have to jump on board right away but this gen is what 6 years old now? Its time. Bring it on. Release the next gen already.
exactly. new systems the wonder of what new things each console will try. can anyone really say that the 360 would change the dashboard that much from launch, or that sony would implement a program like ps+?
@josephps3 - Exactly my sentiments. Those of you that aren't ready - keep your current systems. Sony have shown that they'll keep supporting the older models. And Microsoft will do the same this time round. They won't drop the 360 like they did the original. There's no rush for you to upgrade to a new system. But us "early adopters" need some new toys! Bring it on.
Tired of hearing rumors about Next Gen! Release them already so we can "Get it On"! Stumped = I think the WiiU went with a lower end HD4000 series GPU to lower the price of the WiiU but it's still capable of 1080p gaming!
Look it up. They signed a deal with Green Hills Software... They only GPU they support is the E6760. Graphics look like a 6600 series GPU... It's cheap and embedded...
I am thinking AMD 6850M or 5850M as the base GPU for WiiU. From what I have seen. Well that is IF its based on a mobile chip I expect it to be Juniper based GPU. Mobile chips do run cooler compared to desktop GPUs. Could be ideal for a console. Well I expect 800 Gflops up to 1.2 Tflops as max for WiiU GPU either way with a TDP of 50 or less. Although 75 as a maybe. Still not bad really if you factor all of that in. Can be decent. As a software company it is also important to adapt to new hardware. The WiiU gamepad might feature the E6760 in it though.
I spent WAY to much this gen and yet to tackle all the amazing exclusives on both consoles. I'm holding off on next gen consoles for a VERY long time and play the games on my computer.
Nothing right now. I am satisfied with the gaming PC got a couple months ago. :)
Did u come here just to say that?
I answered the question of the article: "Stumped or pumped..."
Then you are ready for Generation 18(2013) of PC gaming. Been 17 generations of video cards. A capable gaming PC can last at least 3-5 years without much of a need for an update. Unless you are addicted to next-next generation graphics look and detail.
I'm stumped and pumped at the same time.
I'm REALLY interested to see the final specs for each platform.
Pumped for XBox and Playstation but that's only because of what I'm imagining they'll do. ...and I might start getting pumped for the Wii U if Nintendo decide to show us anything above 720p 30fps, or above the lighting & textures that the PS3 and 360 are already churning out.
