It's a shame that these games weren't as popular. Deadly Premonition, Lost Odyssey, Tales of Vesperia, and Blue Dragon are some of the best games on the 360.

agree with most of this list but have some reservations about Blue Dragon. It is a standard oldschool JRPG. I like those but this was very stanard. It was OK though.

I've played through 6 of these 8 games and Deadly Premonition just happens to be my favorite game of all time! Great list, and it's good to know I'm not the only one who loved Deadly Premonition

I liked the other JRPGs on the list but never got around to getting Blue Dragon. I believe it came out when there were other games I was playing.

If I recall I never got Prey because everyone said it was so short.... then I forgot about it.

Never even heard of Deadly Premonition.

Prey isn't short at all I passed it in about 10hrs the average is around 8hrs.

The average now is around 8 hours. I believe the average was slightly higher back when that came out (10-12 hours).

Still, these days, for games that are only 8-10 hours they are expected to have a campaign that is pretty dang fantastic or have the multiplayer component. An average game of 8-10 hours with no playable MP and no replay value is still a "get cheap" game.

Games these days are around 3-7hrs also you could pick it up for less than 10$. I went gamestop and bought it for 5$ new the used version was 3$ of course this was about 4 years ago.

I remember like 2 years ago Monolith were hiring for people experience with melee combat games. I am hoping that was for Condemned 3 and not for Gotham City Imposters.

Lost Odyssey is definitely up there with one of the best RPGs released this generation. The mature storyline, the fun old-school combat system, the great soundtrack, Lost Odyssey is just a masterpiece.

Alan Wake
is actually the one exclusive I wouldn't mind jumping over to the PS3 because it isn't appreciated on the 360 which is a shame because its a great game

Alan Wake did just fine on the 360.Remedy has said the they sold over 2 million copies of Alan Wake, and there is a downloadable 'sequel' of sorts on XBLA.

I think Kameo and Chromehounds should have been mentioned. Both didnt sell very well, but were good games.

Played all those games and loved every second!!! Lost Odyssey is and should be the new Final Fantasy. I would add Kameo and Shadowrun on that list. I really wish Shadowrun did well because it's such an original FPS and very competitive.

i remember the shadowrun beta. I just was butchering people in that game. I due believe shadowrun was the first cross platform game right... xbox vs pc players ? idk could be wrong.. good ole 2007

i didnt play C2. but i did enjoy condemned criminal origins . it had a plot that i didnt understand to todays date. But i liked the whole Crime Scene Investigator / find a weapon that worked kinda game play. It was the first game that really just freaked me the hell out.
