IGN - Left 4 Dead 2: Cold Stream Review

IGN - While Cold Stream lacks that special Valve sheen, it’s certainly not a badly designed Left 4 Dead 2 campaign. Plus, the addition of the original four Left 4 Dead campaigns is something that you’d be silly to pass up on. At $7, it’s hard to dispute the value here, especially if you’ve been missing on some zombie slaying since L4D2’s last DLC, The Passing, was released in October 2010.

"it’s certainly not a badly designed Left 4 Dead 2 campaign."

Yes...yes it is. It's the worst Left 4 Dead campaign.
It's just a map where hundreds of zombies are thrown at you for no reason at all....while you're trying to fight a current and walk up stairs. There is no "gameplaning" or strategy at all on this level.

I've had this map for free on the PC forever and I hate it.

It’s our 6 month anniversary on this week’s episode and we’re playing the latest demo for Resident Evil 6, we all try out Mark of the Ninja, and we barely complete Left 4 Dead 2: Cold Stream. Then we give our thoughts on the hilarious and depressing manga, Welcome to the NHK! Finally we discuss otakus and the culture that creates them, as well as whether GaymerCon is a good idea or not.

GameSpy: In a world gone mad with $15 map packs and $2 clothing packs, it's easy to feel like nothing in gaming is free anymore.
