Black Ops: Declassified A Visual Car Wreck While Capcom's ‘Remember Me’ Innovates

What’s going on @ Gamescom 2012, well for starters Sony is doing what they left off doing at E3, showing brand new exclusive titles for their PS3 and PS Vita. With new titles being shown such as KILLZONE Mercenary, TearAway, Until Dawn, and RAIN just to name a few we’re excited for Sony’s new lineup of titles. Is it me or was Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified a visual car wreck on the PS Vita? We discuss the underwhelming new trailer shown at Sony’s Gamescom press conference in much detail.

COD trailers tend to look better than the games come out looking... The series has never been known for its amazing graphics.

Don't mean to burst yer' bubble there mate
But im pretty sure the same thing was being said about Resistance: burning skies before it's release.

Here's the thing though, Killzone Vita and AC3: Liberation looks as good as they do because they went the extra mile and ported their console engines to the Vita. Declassified looks like a reskinned Burning Skies.

Now, who are we to blame ?

Sony for not pressuring Activision on porting their oh-so-overused console engine or Activision for being lazy and greedy and handing of a potential Vita big seller to a b-tier development studio who have yet to prove themselves.

Sony Bend/Zipper would've done a much better job.

Agreed. But more importantly, has a COD game EVER impressed visually? COD on the current gen consoles have ALWAYS looked washed out and slightly tarnished at the edges. I don't see anything different with COD Vita.

I'll wait to play it first, but if the game actually plays well, I couldn't care less if the visuals are first-gen PS3...

I know it was a trailer bit they cannot screw this up. It cannot simply be a generic fps with a cod logo. This game could sell a ton of hardware but I fear it won't live up.

the story takes place between to other games of same franchise so is it really "generic"?

The graphics don't bother me. It's the 4v4 that does. Should be more.

I kind of agree with on the 4 v 4! At least give me 6 v 6! The graphics.....I'll wait and see what comes of it.

Agreed. PSP Medal of Honor did 32 players, had decent graphics, great maps, lots of weapons, and kicks this game in the balls.

In the end i fear Nihilistic didnt have enough time as they were making Resistance BS and COD BO Declassified. Lets still give them a chance, you never know it could be better than expected (Expectations are low as of this moment) .
