Downloads account for 5 percent of New Super Mario Bros. 2 sales in Japan so far

Joystiq- Nintendo's digital distribution scheme for retail games has had a relatively slow start in Japan. Nintendo president Satoru Iwata told the Wall Street Journal that digital sales of New Super Mario Bros. 2, which was released in the region on July 28, have made up 5% of the total.
