Beyond: Two Souls
cant wait ?
God i hate new gametrailers, everything got worse including the videoplayer.
I agree... gametrailers became a mess after the site "update".
. The new Gametrailers site allowed me for free video downloads again.
Let's hope the AI was turned off in this demo; one cop gets choked and the one aside him/ behind him just stands there?? Come on! I know cops ain't smart but that was silly...
Gonna say pretty sure in this demo they had them not attack, so they could demonstrate all the little things you could do with out dying.
well you better be right
yeah, because in reality a person would immediately pounce on the invisible entity that was throttling their chum. He wouldn't just stand there stunned and wondering what was going on.
Its a game after all. Look at all the stealth games like MGS or Deus Ex or Splinter Cell where you can incapacitate enemies in close proximity to other enemies and not set off any alarms. I just hope that everything isn't scripted and that there are unlimited ways to get out of a situation such as the one shown here.
I can't speak for Deus Ex, but in MGS and Splinter Cell, the enemies will at least wonder what happen to their partner. For example in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, if the enemy senses danger then they would always form a buddy system pair and if one gets taken out, he will notice he's missing and look for him. But I agree, I also hope that this scene was just to show the capabilities of Eden and not to represent how the game actually is.
I need this game!
If there isn't a time limit or this doesn't play out in real time, what it is the challenge. I really hope the actual gameplay is more dynamic and difficult than this.
It looks stunning, gorgeous, beautiful, but I agree it seems to lack tension, or challenge, or something. Weird how the enemies just stand around and let you take your sweet time doing whatever you want until you do it right. Heavy Rain had tons of tension, you had time limits, you had to truly succeed at things, or you would either wind up dying permanently for the rest of the game with that character, or you'd alter the outcomes to something else less than ideal, etc. There was tension throughout the whole game. This presentation was completely lacking in tension and challenge. I still trust them, though, they haven't let me down on any of their games yet. The story will probably be good enough to play it for at least.
it looks very promising indeed.
Graphics look stunning, gameplay looks more linear than I expected though
I agree. Gameplay wise this looks very much like Heavy Rain. This type of gameplay is something I would expect from Sega CD where everything around is pre-set and all you do is hit a button to make the next cut scene happen. It's still early and I hope there is more to the game then just a story where you hit a button here and their to progress to the next cutscene. If it continues like this, I may just pass on the game. I need the action and controlling mechanisms like what will be in the Last of Us. I finished playing Sega CD back when they thought graphics were better than gameplay. This gen, Gameplay outweighs graphics.
Worst swat team ever
