NowGamer- What were the best games of Gamscom 2012? Well, here's what we thought.
One of the best games, and my personal pick, announced in the show was Rain. I loved the atmosphere, the music that accompanied the trailer, and feels like it will be something unique, which I hope becomes as beloved as Journey was. Oh, and because I love when it rains, so I'll definitely like this game. Honorable mentions: •Tearaway: Made by Media Molecule. Can't go wrong with that. •The Puppeteer: This game also looks unique and awesome. Can't wait to see more of it! •Remember Me: Gameplay reveal looked awesome. Gameplay seemed smooth, hacking into people's minds and forcing them to think they killed someone but didn't may or may not break the game gameplay/story-wise, futuristic setting looked awesome. Character models need more detail and polish though. The facial models seemed a bit rough, but keep the main character's booty. Mmmmm, her booty was fine! The city was also raining in the demo, so I'm a bit biased on it :p
for me Until Down and Rain
I want to see some Until Dawn gameplay but the most interesting game for me was Rain hands down. I'm really excited to see more of that
Is Until Dawn the game that Sony sort of leaked like two years ago? It looks like it. Has an Evil Dead vibe that I like. I hope it has some of that quirky elements in it. My GOTS goes to Puppeteer. Sony dropped some really amazing games on us, but something about the 2.5D platformer intrigues me and the theme is very Tim Burton-esk which totally sold me on the game.
You mean from that move trailer? it sure looks like it, I hope it can deliver the scare factor we have been missing. Yeah I agree I was surprised, some great looking games for sure
yeah...and it had GIFs online and pics and stuff showing a hand in the woods with a flashlight. Just wondering. Yeah I hope it can deliver. It looks pretty good. Just the Evil Dead feel draws me in.. I'm a B-Movie fan. I loved House of the Dead OVERKILL on the Wii. Really want to pick it up sometime on PS3. It's such a classic in the making.
Regarding Puppeteer, It also looks like it may feature Move control so hopefully you’ll get to do some actual puppeteering yourself. Where in the trailer was there a sign of PS Move. I mean the game is fast paced and i dont see ps move fitting in there.
