Why The Wii Just Wasnt for Mii

Paul loves Nintendo. Some of their games are listed in Pauls all time top ten. Paul has owned every system (not counting the Virtual Boy), and still has them all. Apart from one.

The Wii journey started from day one. The original announcement, the name confirmation, the launch games, everything had Paul interested and he was sold on the idea. Paul put my pre-order in, and managed to get my console on day one with a copy of Twilight Princess. Paul loved it, and although Paul didn't realise at the time the significance of it, so did my wife. (Nintendo, Wii)

"I think that had I kept my Wii, I would still be waiting for a new game that would make it worth blowing the dust from it."

Have you not heard of a couple of games called Xenoblade Chronicles or The Last Story?

Name more than 10 games worth getting for the Wii that are exclusives
Puddlejumper75  +   692d ago
SMG,SMG2,Punch Out, Pandoras Tower, Last Story, Xenoblade, Super paper mario, Zelda twilight Princess, Skyward Swords,NSMBWii, Metroid,DK country returns, Fire Emblem, Madworld, No more heroes 2, I couldlistmore but you only asked for 10. Now be a good troll and find some reason that none of them count, then name 10 exclusives for 360 or PS3 that I can simply dismiss as well.

That's easy if a person actually pulls their head from out of their butt and takes off their blinders.

I know your post is bait, but I'll bite.

Super Mario Galaxy 2
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The Last Story
Xenoblade Chronicles
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
Monster Hunter Tri
Tatsunoko VS. Capcom
No More Heroes 2
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Mario Kart Wii
Wario Land: Shake It!
Sonic Colors
Excitebots: Trick Racing
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Sin & Punishment: Star Successor
Wii Sports
Kirby's Return to Dream Land
Boom Blox
Donkey Kong Country Returns
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

That's the ones that came to mind.

Like Puddlejumper75 said, one can easily dismiss anything from any platform ever. I find people getting so angry with hatred for a game console to be hilarious. Some gamers really are an embarrassment to their hobby.

P.S. The "Wii is covered in dust" comments are just as obnoxious as the "Xbox 360s are unreliable and break" comments.

@puddlejumper. you forgot muramasa, little kings story, trauma center, monster hunter, arc rise, tatsunoko vs capcom, red steel 2, rune factory, wario land, kirby return to dream land, lost in shadow, epic micky, sonic colors, fire emblem, sin and punishemnt, and de blob 1

That is more exclusives than xbox or play station seeing as how almost everything is shared between the two systems.

I love my Wii. It has some of the best games i played this gen. IGN released the top 25 Wii games they have played. People should really take a look at that list because it has some of the finest games released in recent years. I have a PS3 and XBOX 360(Halo and Forza) for the fact that one console is not enough, you will always be missing out if you stick to one console.

I want to get Dolphin, but it never works for me. I have tried it and it did not work. I completely erased and uninstalled everything, did it again, did not work. I may be forgetting to download something. I cannot even count how many Gamecube and low motion control required Wii games i want to play on Dolphin.

I kept my Wii for as long as I did specifically for the Mario's, metroid and skyward sword. The Mario's kept the dream alive for me but Metroid and even Zelda let me down and this is coming from someone who grew up with those series since the originals hit the NES and loved them. I sold the Wii before even finishing Zelda.

I'm now a former longtime Nintendo fan simply because of the Wii. I really think it's rooted in my hate for the wiimote n nunchuks if that helps anyone understand.

I'd love to see Nintendo make a comeback for hardcore gamers but after seeing what we have seen with the WiiU I can't help but doubt it.

But yes ZombiiU looks fun.

Loved NES, Super NES, N64, and Gamecube.

I'm right here with you man. I bought every console by Nintendo except for the Wii and I still have them all.

Undecided on the Wii U. Leaning towards skipping it. Mario Galaxies, DKCR, & Skyward Sword are the only things I would have played. Pissed at Nintendo for deserting the core gamer. Since I only missed 4 games, I might as well buy a new PC and just play them on an emulator rather than wasting money on a 7 year late 360 with another gimmicky controller that has minimal 3rd party support in terms of functionality.

I think the Wii U will sell reasonably, but not that great. They really let us core gamers down and the PS3/360 will be SO MUCH CHEAPER to play the same 3rd party games which will make up the bulk of those type players' libraries.
