Vista Removal Service a Hit!

Small computer businesses are making a killing taking out Microsoft Vista for the technologically illiterate and reinstalling XP.

Seattle PI focuses on one store in Milford, A&D Computer, whose manager Aaron Kaplan found business booming when he stuck up a sign offering to get rid of Vista.

I have no problem with it, I was apprehensive when i first purchased this laptop cause it came with vista installed and got every thing set to go to install xp on this laptop and remove vista...but i've given it time and i've become accustomed to the OS so far and it seems to work fine.

Like every OS before it 95-98...ect the first year or so it was the same thing oh this isn't as good as the past OS...ect but eventually updates become mainstream programs get updated and every thing works great.

Except for ME. ME never caught on and is remembered as a failed OS. Vista could shape up like 98 or fail miserably like ME. A lot of it depends on how hard Microsoft pushes it vs. just replacing it with a new one.

I thought this new gamerzone was supposed to be moderated? Do we really need comments like that from useless fanboys like the below(aaquib5)? As for Vista, I've had very little problems with it. Seems more like a user problem.

This is news? its common knowledge that people have problems with vista, and this is just a no name random blog posting that a computer repair service is uninstalling vista and installing xp.

It has nothing to do with the industry news or any thing.

Yes, it's not really worthy news IMO.

However, on the subject. If my "shoping around" when looking for a new laptop is any indication, some of these people probably have a cheap laptop with 512 ram. Vista uses about 600 ram, on a good day. I don't know why Walmart, and the likes, even bother selling their 512 ram laptops loaded with Vista, that's disapointment in a box if I've ever seen it.

My father had a problem with vista initially. Then he simply upgraded his system memory and it worked perfectly fine. I plan on getting it in my next laptop.
