Ninja Gaiden 3 on Wii U is the "hardcore fan package"

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge on Wii U will be the "hardcore fan package" of the game, developer Team Ninja has said.

It will improve on the previously-released PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions, which Team Ninja boss Yosuke Hayashi told Eurogamer could have better served fans.

"We left out some of the things the series was well-known for. We did leave some of our fans out," Hayashi admitted, adding that the Wii U version had given the team a chance to relaunch the game.

...They botched up the Sigma releases of Ninja Gaiden.

They botched up the Vita port of Ninja Gaiden (censorship, no original language).

They released a HORRIBLE Ninja Gaiden 3 which shamed the series.

And now here they are again talking how this release will be 'a hardcore fan package'.

They ran this once great series completely into the ground. It's ridiculous that Hayashi still has a job.

Well... I am a Ninja Gaiden fun, so I bought this game for the PS3 and it's a shame what they did with the game.

I watched some WiiU footage and looks like they are really improving the game. Maybe I will try it.

Ninja Gaiden 2 was not good past the 4th chapter. It was repetitive and boring and the final boss fight was a cheap joke.

i Somehow doubt that , they'll only fix what's possible , add extra fluff , but wont touch everything inherently wrong from the raw architecture and design of the game , and actually there was plenty wrong

Could be a big seller for the upstart console, though. Have to admit that, even if it would be the version the 360 and PS3 SHOULD'VE got, Nintendo could hit the jackpot if this is good.

Nah no way ... the game didnt have a huge fanbase to begin with and lost most of it at the first version while failing to attract a new one .

You remove from what's left the base early wii u owner , and you are left with chump change .

At most the game would do Sigma numbers , at most .

The positive aspect is how it add further diversity to the Wii U's launch portfolio
