Looks incredible. Must buy for me.

Exclusivity is great, but I hope it gets the sales it deserve. Origins wasn't a huge seller on any one of the established consoles, afterall.

Origins is one of the best platformers this generation. It deserves the attention of all gamers. I hope this game gets great sales.

The install base on 360 and PS3 is like a combined 120 million and that's not even taking into account people that bought it on PC. The install base for the WiiU at launch will be 99% less than that.

I'm pretty sure this is a timed exclusive anyways.

Lucretia2108d ago

yeha deaf a timed exclusive. cause its not a system seller, but it is a good game. would be silly of ubisoft to make it completely exclusive.

still if it is exclusive thats nice for the very few future wii-u owners. even when i get a wii-u i wont buy this game on it.

will wait for it to launch on other platforms

Why is exclusivity great? I don't see why it improves on what already looks like a amazing title.

Instigator2109d ago

I mean another exclusive this early is great for the console, not that it'll make the game better.

Wow did Ubisoft just sign Rayman legends death warrant. Rayman Origins didnt break bank and that was on 3 console's,pc and 2 handhelds. Now they think it will sell on wiiU when its up against new super mario bros mii, when people see those games next to each other 9 out of 10 times people will pick the mario game.

Yeah it did make some money. But they send that game to certain doom aswell, like launching it in the same week as some of the biggest releases of the year.

Very sad i wont be able to play it launch day i loved origins it was so overlooked by the media and gamers. Also probably the first game to make my hand cramp with the treasure chase and land of the livid dead.

Actually, Rayman Origins did make money (

However, I am not a fan of this being a Wii U exclusive title. I played Rayman Origins on the X360, and was hoping the sequel would be multiplatform as well. I'm happy that the Wii U has exclusives, but it's still disappointing

mrbojingles2109d ago

Ubisoft already stated their Wii U exclusives like Legends and Zombi U are only costing them about $1 million each. They will likely make a huge amount of money in return without selling much at all but still have it be a huge success.

Its called money management. Making good games with less money is the solution.

That's great for Nintendo and those who were planning on buying a Wii U but it's definitely a huge shame for everyone else as the first one was absolutely brilliant.

I had the 360 version of Origins but sold it to buy the Vita version, and I was hoping to pick up Legends on the Vita too.

I'm sure it will be great on Wii U (and look gorgeous on both screens) but it's definitely the type of pick up and-play-game that suits portables.

Yes I can't wait to get a copy. Wii u will be the king of consoles this year.
