Icrontic review: The controversial PC version of Darksiders II

Icrontic writes: "Death lives in Darksiders II, an ambitious sequel to an under-appreciated title from Vigil Games and THQ. It was heavily hyped—does it live up?" (Darksiders 2, PC, PS3, THQ, Vigil Games, Xbox 360) -

Yeah, great game so far, and I can't complain about the PC version. 1080P @ 120FPS is just fine. It may not be the most graphically advanced title ever, but it looks fine, and allows me to apply things like AA/AF (NVCPL) and higher resolutions, so I don't mind.

But yeah, the UI modelling is very strange. Death seems to be rendered at 800x600 or something. Perhaps a patch will sort it, but it's hardly game-breaking.

"These guys busted their asses to make a phenomenal game and all over the web the console players are basically saying “Wow! This is fantastic! Thanks, Vigil!” while a few PC blowhards are going off about how “shite” THQ and Vigil are and how they’re getting “fucked over”. Come on. The game runs really well. You’re not getting fucked over."

as a PC exclusive gamer with a beastly rig that can max anything, I agree with what this man said, it looks better than console, and runs just fine, stop your bitching, you entitled twats.
