5 Most Painful Delays of The Year So Far

CVG- 2012 is definitely the year of video game delays. Over the past eight months a heart-aching number of games we expected to be playing have been knocked down the calendar. The latest example is PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, Sony's brawler having seemingly been hit with a one month delay.

It's the most painful delay in the history of gaming for me. It's made worse by recent news.

I really want them to do a port of Luigis Mansion 2 to the Wii U...that sequel deserves a console release. We've been waiting for one for so long and it only gets the handheld treatment.

Aliens Colonial Marines, and Bioshock Infinite were the two that hit me with a low blow when announced.

i can think of 5 better games than that

1. Last of US (not really delayed, just not yet 100% confirmed release date)
2. Assasins Creed3 (not delayed but oct is a long ass time)
3. Farcry 3
4. watchdogs (not YET delayed, but no definitive release date).
5. Last Guardian (indefinitely delayd, on life support, and coding).

half those games arent even delayed...just no relase date and I wouldnt expect them to have a realese dates so soon after there announcments. Except Last guardian which has taken a huge amount of time in developemnt.

1. like Death said....they haven't been delayed, just no release date. (we all know you just edited the post you posted.)
and 2....for you to say that games which we've never played before is a more painful delay then one of the greatest games i've ever played *Bioshock*....is a complete joke. NON of those games even touch Bioshock, even Luigis Mansion lol.

Whilst Bioshock Infinite's delay was frustrating, the delay of Alien: Colonial Marines was meaningless, the game has lost much of it's initial identity, when originally announced the game was promised to be Rainbow Six in the Aliens Universe, with you commanding troops to weld doors, vents and floor panels, change their outfits and more, now, due to the purchasing and focusing of the Duke Nukem Franchise, the game has become nothing more than a generic, unappealing shooter...
