Anyone that thinks a tablet will replace a console doesn't know the first thing about hardware.

Basic rule of thumb, whatever hardware a tablet is running will never compete with what a desktop PC or console has.

The reason is because of fans and cooling, which allow stronger hardware to run without overheating, a limitation that tablets will always have.

I agree, it takes Sony and MS years to make smaller versions of their consoles, and they're still much larger than tablets.

Not sure if serious? Also, we get these stupid articles EVERY day on n4g. Time to quit stirring the pot. This topic's goose is cooked.

@azazil

Basic rule of thumb, whatever hardware a tablet is running will never compete with what console has and whatever hardware a console has will never compete with what a desktop pc has.

fixed

its the foodchain of video games and pc has no natural predators except in the minds of delusional console fanboys that think console is even in the same league or generation as pc.

and truth be told, with as long as 360/ps3 have been on the market, tablets are already begining to eclipse consoles graphically, this should, in theory, never happen, but ms and sony are terrified to release new hardware, they fear the future.

Will there be life on earth when I wake up? Anyone who gives that site a hit for such a question, deserves a poke in the eye.

My site has no ads on it. And you obviously didn't even read the description, because it says that it's a debate. Debates means there are at least two opposing sides.
