Most Audacious Moment: Halo 2/The Arbiter

1up - Halo 2 has gone down in history as most people's least favorite chapter of the Halo series. I can understand the reasons for that, at least to some degree: The final product Bungie put on shelves didn't quite match the promise of its earliest showings, as the developers more or less scrapped the entire game midway through and rushed to come up with a shippable product. And then there was the whole lack of an actual ending. Those are fair enough complaints, sure. But people who hate the Arbiter? Those dudes are straight-up nuts.

I never knew that the game was scrapped in the middle of development and rushed through for a monetarily beneficial retail release. Sure sounds like something Microsoft would do, though!
