Not really feeling the Vita as of late. It needs more good games NOW rather then LATER.
jon1234  +   768d ago
oh yeah what a great idea!!! lets force every company making games for the vita to release them RIGHT NOW... so we can get a big pile of sh!t, and not a good polished awesome game....

learn to be patient....
Muffins1223  +   768d ago
He dident mean it in that way....he basically just said sony should of been more prepared for launch and let the developer's developed earlier for it and delayed the launch of vita maybe

I hear you. They have an amazing machine just nothing to make me say "You need one now for.."

LBPVita comes out next month. If you want an endless supply of games to play on the Vita, Buy that and get them for free. There are going to be some fantastic games for that in a 2 to 3 months because a lot of the big LBP2 creators are moving over to it.

Little big planet doesnt count as an 'endless supply of free games'
Not to me anyway, fair enough its a decent enough platformer but thats it, it hardly compares to dedicated driving, fighting and RPG games etc does it.

I want Sonic Adventure 2 Vita and Shenmue HD would be immense for it, you cant emulate amazing games like that on LBP...

It's selling. Thats what really matters. Sure its not selling like 3DS but that doesnt mean its in trouble. One day the numbers will be there and the games will be there and all these sites calling it a failure will look really stupid..

We really need to start keeping track of these sites so when they are proven wrong time and time again they can be blocked from being posted here.

I have no problem with sites that are just starting out or arent well known but if everything you say is proven wrong why exactly should you be allowed to post your opinion
kingofe3  +   768d ago
Have you seen this month's NPD on other sites? Or VGChartz? Not the most accurate of places I know, but it's not selling so well. Think below Gamecube levels in 2006. Yeah...
Puddlejumper75  +   768d ago
And? The GC had a lot of great games and was in no way a failure so that is a poor example because it proves me right more so than it proves me wrong.

I'm guessing you are probably one of the "doom and gloom" types that is desperate for it to fail so you can be right about something.

It wont be a failure til it stops selling and Sony pulls it from shelves. We both KNOW that isnt happening soon.
faysal  +   768d ago
vita is the most expensive machine out right now so its selling slow.. give it time and it will pick up soon as the great upcoming games are out..
1. ps all star
2. COD
3. assassin creed
4. nfs most wanted
5. fifa
6. sly
7. takken vs streetfighter
8. LBP
great games and more to come after gamescom..

Jet Set Radio HD
Kickbeat
Madden NFL 13
New Liitle King's Story
Oddworld Munch's Odyssey HD
Oddworld Stranger's Wrath HD
Orgarhythm
Persona 4: The Golden
Ragnarok Odyssey
Retro City Rampage
Silent Hill: Book of Memories
Sine Mora
Smart As...
Snapshot
Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed
Spy Hunter
Super Monkey Ball: Banana Splitz
Urban Trials
WRC 3
Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward

That's pretty much all, almost 30 games in 4 months (August-November) from what we have announced at the moment. Not every game is good for sure, but personally I won't afford 2 games per month anyway. So still plenty of choices.

So tell me, which of those games will suddenly make the Vita a must have for the masses?

I think games will help but the competition also has a lot of games and is less expensive. New games plus a price drop will definitely change the playing field.

Not any one game is going to move the vita but with games like these coming it will sell better.

But I honestly do see COD and Assassin's creed doing the vita a ton of good. Those are 2 games the west really eats up.

yh lots of games are coming but to trolls somehow vita has no game and sony is doomed..

@commonsensegamer mojority of the people will buy vita for cod so they can talk shit online even if they are at school or work. and in terms of price the vita is same price as the 3DXL right now on every online shop... so talking about price is invalid.

Re: AC3 and COD.

One problem with those is that there's gonna be full PS3 and X360 versions of AC3, the exact same game, and there will be a new separate but similar console version of COD coming out right at the same time. TBH, I'm not going to buy the PS3 version of AC3 for $60 and then turn around and sink another $40 into it just to have it on the go. I will probably get both COD titles, but I can see a lot of people thinking "I don't need $100 worth of COD this month and I don't know anyone who will be playing it online anyway" and letting the $40 handheld version fall off the radar.

I really think Sony needs more titles that are crossplay and/or dual compatible, like the Pinball game where you buy it on PSN and you own both versions for one price.

The number of hardcore handheld gamers is pretty small these days compared to the kiddie (who likely have a cheaper 3ds already) and casual (phone) markets.

Subsidizing some of those console games to be dual play would really help motivate the hardcore players (who WILL drop major coin on console titles but might balk at rebuying the exact same or very similar content on a handheld) to give the Vita a harder look.

Vita is on its way to fail as we speak lets see if time will prove me right ? sorry sony fans.
12345bnm  +   767d ago
The upcoming Gamescom and especially TGS will be absolutely critical for the Vita's success in the near future. Sony need to take advantage of both events and focus completely on the Vita.
PirateThom  +   767d ago
I think the only mistake Sony made was releasing their games all at once. It had an amazing launch line up. Of course it hasn't had anything, they gave people choices at launch rather than staggering the games out. It's only been out in most territories for 6 months and people are still calling doom and gloom like they want it to fail.

OBVIOUSLY THE MEMORY CARDS ARE TO DEAR THATS WHY I SENT MINE BACK TO ASDA ONE 4GB CARD JUST ENUFF FUR DRAKE SO YOUR TALKING GAMES ARE BASICALLY COSTING YOU AN EXTRA £14 A TIME ON TOP OF THE PRICE OF A GAME
ToZanarkand86  +   767d ago
Not really...
Download the game, play it, platinum it whatever you wanna do with it, then delete from your card and download somethin else! You can always re-download it again free of charge should you wanna play it again.
LebaNoob  +   767d ago
You can also simply store it on your PS3 or laptop and just transfer it back again whenever you feel like it.
