Gameloft debuts Wild Blood mobile game teaser trailer

Wild Blood is the first game that Gameloft is developing with the Unreal engine.Think of other Unreal-based games like Gears of War and Infinity Blade and you’ll have an idea of what you might be able to expect. Not a lot is known about Wild Blood, yet, though. From this trailer, it seems it could be a cross between the two above-mentioned titles. However, as this teaser shows, it is going to be visually stunning, especially for something being released to iOS and Android. I hope this starts a trend of more such titles for mobile platforms. (Android, iPad, iPhone, Wild Blood)

So, can anyone guess which console game this ripped off? I'm thinking Demons/Dark Souls, maybe Skyrim.

Or maybe even Darksiders 2.

I can see Dark Souls, not a lot of Skyrim. But I don't care. It's still the kind of game I want to see more of for mobile. I need real games on my tablet. No more Angry Birds! LOL

How can you tell? The teaser trailer barely showed anything, didn't show any combat. I suppose, thematically, it resembles Dragon's Dogma or Kingdom's of Amalur: Reckoning, but we don't really know anything.

Every Gameloft game is... lets just say "Heavily Inspired" by a successful console game.

Oh I see. I'm not an Android or iOS gamer so I really wouldn't know. The only thing I know about Gameloft is that they ported The Amazing Spider-Man to Android.

Not any more a rip off than every other game is a rip off of another. You just tweak in a few new ideas, run with it, and hopefully its good.

I mean you dont really think that latest FPS shooter your playing is totally original and unlike anything else before its time do you?

This is all too true. More and more games are starting to look alike these days.
