The Amazing Spider-Man game is a wonderful approach to movie-based games.
Although I hate the lack of a venom costume (I know, he's not in the story, but neither is Scarlet Spider-Man), the lack of dynamic side missions (I think it would be cool if while you're swinging around someone yelled for help and you had to rescue someone from like a burning building or whatever), and the troll trophies/achievements (like collecting 700 comic book pieces); this game is really good.
It was a rather nice experience. If the side missions were better and they continued post game it would have been much more enjoyable. Well worth the $60 imo
I agree. You only get about 4 side missions post game to finish up the trophies, and once they're done that's it. The only thing left you have to do is look for the comic book pieces and sniper guys. Also, the boss battles were pretty underwhelming. I think the toughest boss I faced was probably Vermin, but it was unfortunate that all the boss battles followed a pattern. The most fun I had was fighting the Hunters.
