Why Playstation Plus is Worth Purchasing

Like many of you, I love video games and I love playing online with other people. Weather it’s shooters, sports games, multi-massive online role playing games or even fighting games such as Persona 4: Arena, online offers hours of entertainment. While you might be able to play you’re favourite PC games online on dedicated servers, the same cannot be said for console, at least not without forking over some cash.

It is worth purchasing if you haven't picked up most of the games they have offered and is a tremendous value for the price.

On the other hand if you aren't into many arcade games and most of the free games they offer are old it may not be worth it for you.

All in all, if you are a heavy PSN user I would highly recommend it but if you have a PS3 for the exclusives or purchase your games day one not so much but even then it could still be off good value.

Most of the free games they offer are old? Are you for real? Just recently they were offering games like Shank 2 and Walking Dead. Do you even know what you are talking about?

If you find yourself buying a lot of games from PSN, then get PS Plus. I feel Plus already paid for itself and more, and it's still only halfway through the year.

I have both ps+ is an amazing value. You can't go wrong. But I like my Xbox live gold better. There's something about Microsoft that keeps you comming back for more. The service is great and the party chat is a bonus, not that I use it much. Ps+ give you free games, but if your membership expires you can't access the free games. They offered you. But you get to play the games you purchased with the ps+ discount weather your a member or your membership is over. My only complaint is that it seems like USA got screwed with the free games. Europe got dues x and motorstorm. Why did we not get those?

In regards to Europe vs US for PSN; that's odd. Usually it's people from Europe that complain about not getting the games we get in the US. I don't have an example in mind though.

My terrible internet connection stops me from getting PS+. I can download small games like PS1, PSP and some Vita games, but PS3 games would take days.

you should maybe get a faster internet connection, it shouldn't cost that much these days.

i've been a member for almost a year and i really love PS+. A lot of free games each month/week, auto update and cloud saving. Tremendous value for money, i encourage everyone to go get it !

I wish they would offer more cloud storage for the saves, I haven't been able to upload a save for a few months now. I have already transferred all the ones to a flash drive that I could all the others are locked. The only other thing I wish would change is I wish they would just allow + members to DL any game ( limited to 1 or 2 a month ) each month from the store, because I already own most of what they are offering. They could add a PS+ option in the cart for during the checkout process that would reset every month to 2 or 1 but just having a choice in the games I get would be nice. Other then those few minor things I feel PS+ is well worth the money.

It was nice when I first bought my PS3 and I still didn't have too much to play, even though I never really liked any of Plus' free games (my subscription expired months ago, and I don't miss any of the games I "lost"). But now that I have more games than I have time to play, Plus just isn't that good for me anymore.
