PS3/PS Vita Cross-Play Handbook

The Cross-Platform features that exist between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita are excellent - and abundant. Because of this, Game-Modo will maintain (as best we can) a guide that explains the many cross-platform capabilities and the games that feature them. (PS Vita, PS3)

So that list is excellent and abundant? To me it seems almost non-existent...

Every single game released on both platforms should be cross-purchaseable and have all those features, not just the 5 games listed there.

I counted around 15 different games there with some kind of cross-play. I don't agree that all games should release on both platforms, because it would increase development costs. Also the developers should have a choice on the systems they want to develop for. But I agree that cross-play should be implemented in a lot more games.

"The Cross-Platform features that exist between the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita are excellent - and abundant." It's talking about the features, not the games that use them.
But yes, I agree - games that are available on both (Pure Chess, for example) should use as many features as are logical.

Personally think if Sony wants to really boost the Vita sales, they need to bundle games. IF third parties are being greedy and not agreeing to the bundles, then Sony should eat some cost a couple times, as it will pay out.

If PS3 buyers got a slip that said "activate your Vita copy now!" with a deadline to do it, it will really push people to get a Vita. Let alone it will encourage people to buy the game as well. That and straight up bundles. Pay an "extra" 20 dollars on the PS3 version and get the Vita version too.

To lazy to register at Gamesmodo to mention forgotten games.

Sly Cooper - Thieves in time, coming in a month will have save-transfer between PS3 and Vita.

When Vikings Attack (Vita/PS3) will feature -Cross buy, cross-play and cross saves.

Little Battler eXperience has that cross-platform play between Vita and PSP:

And Metal Gear Solid peacewalker, also have that you can move games between your Vita, PSP and PS3, but they call it transfarring. :P
I'm not sure if the HD remakes of MGS2 and 3 in the Metal Gear HD collection have it tough.

Street Fighter X Tekken also have it, I think.
