M14x R2 right now is a nice deal, well, if you can live with 1366x768 in games. But its fast (650m gt) gets good battery life runs cool and has the appeal of the slick powerful aww inspiring alienware appearance.
As it ages it will have serious cooling problems, its non upgrade able and you can get a far far better desktop for the money.

BUT they are still a bit spendy I suppose but once you go high end pappy you don't go back.
