Where The Gears Of War Franchise Can Go From Here

With the last Gears Of War game, Judgment due out in March of 2013 appearing to be the last for this generation a Gears fan could only wonder – where can Epic/Microsoft take the franchise from here?

Like halo wars...why not? Mass effect could do it to...a great RTS. I know u didn't mean that but it would be awesome. How about a MOBA game set in gears universe.

don't disrespect SOCOM. socom is on a flatline right now because the developers keep thinking if they ignore what the smaller core fanbase asks for, and try to appeal to the larger CoD crowd, they'll have better results. and it hasn't worked at all.

My guess is they are going to war? I do think they need new characters though I am kinda getting tired of playing as the same people. Hoping Judgement brings in some new characters. Love the series just need new characters. The same could be said with a lot of games I guess XD.

Gears is like Halo now days, they could do lots of things. They have a history of novels and books to take ideas from. Anything Gears is pure gold.

Gears has a rich universe so they could go anywhere they want. There are lots of stories to tell in that universe but in my opinion Pendulum wars would be ace but we'll see. Meanwhile I'll be playing Gears 3 multiplayer which is awesome!
