Chaos Hour Writes: With sales of Dragon's Dogma soaring this can only mean one thing for this fresh new IP, and that's a sequel. It's one of those things which is going to happen regardless. Capcom would be crazy not to take this opportunity to make a Dragon's Dogma 2. Here's hoping that they are in development of the game as personally I really enjoyed Dragons Dogma and would love to see more. But could a sequel be the downfall of this fantastic RPG? Or is it exactly what it needs to rise above the likes of Skyrim and Diablo.
What Would You Like From Dragons Dogma 2?
Able to walk in water without getting dinged with some status effect or attacked by a cloud monster.
When fighting an enemy and the camera goes beind an object the enviroment object becomes transparent.
Dragons dogma is a phenomena game that could itself have more add on content.
I'm sure more fans would rather they put in an OPTION for difficulty rather than have people waste their time leveling up only to have enemies level up with them.
this isn't skyrim. THAT game exists already.
Completely ruins the game for the fans who enjoy out leveling the world.
But, I was thinking that maybe people could use their pawns in your game if they chose to...real people intelligence. I know that fable 3 did this already. Give some reward like rift crystals x 3 if it's the actual person playing Co op in someone else's world. The key is to make rift crystals buy better stuff like the ability to color armors or customize armors and weapons. I realize that it's aesthetic in case people don't play online. Man I love this game.
I found the Port Crystals to be pretty good, you could get them before end game if you were resourceful, but some steeds, or other transport would be nice.
Co-op yes, a horde mode sounds absolutely delicious. More job classes would be good. An Arena mode sounds tasty as well.
2. Hard Mode option.
3. MORE unique armors and weapons.
4. More monster types. Not just changing spites for example Wolf -> Dire Wolf (just boosting its stats and adding some resistance to certain element). Hell Hounds are a different story, they make it feel like a totally different monster. How about multiple corrupt and evil pawns roaming (online pawns that died, neglected by their Arisen). LOL
5. Large map with lots of towns like in Skyrim.
