Capcom comments on online split-screen possibility for Resident Evil 6

Capcom comments on the possibility of online split-screen support (where you can play spilt-screen with others online) for their upcoming multiplatform title, Resident Evil 6.

online and splitscreen dont even really make sense. If you are playing online you dont need splitscreen......

Yes it does, if your friend is in the same console and wants to play online with you then it makes sense.

if you are on the same console you would not need to be online to begin with all that is required is local co-op... It would make sense however if that game has 4 players though so I know what your saying.

R_aVe_N, let's say if you have siblings who wants to play Halo with you but you don't want to play 1 vs 1 matches and certainly not against bots... Then online-splitscreen makes perfect sense and is actually the sole reason I bought Black Ops and Halo 3/Reach

More developers should take this feature into consideration!

I am refering to campaign co-op not 1v1 battles I don't play multiplayer games to much so that is not an option I really care about, but good to have for those that do. This however would work well with the merc mode in the game.
