Nevertheless, it's bad parenting all around, she should have never let his gaming habits be so bad. I turn my sons ps3 off after only a couple hours and force him to do chores, clean up, go outside, etc.

in highschool i remember march break when the weather was really crappy and my friend lent me his PS2 and GTA:VICE CITY.. 5 days of non-stop gaming.. just stopped to get food and use the can. No shower but at least 7 hours of sleep per night..
this kid made the mistake of showering.. and was probably on caffeine

Just to note, overhydration is also bad. Can result in brain damage. So, drink fluids and eat food, but don't drink too much water (or other liquids).

Even when I was severely addicted to WoW I couldn't play for more than 12 hours. These days I find it hard to play for more than 4-5 hours.

I have no idea how someone could stay awake for 4 days, I would pass out from exhaustion long before that.

Play four days without enough food and water. Man I don't know about you guys but I got a jug of water each time I start up my console. Nothing better than a cold refreshing sip during a post match or completing a mission.

But I don't go a full day, longest I can play is 8 hours then I switch to netflix but only on weekends.

I could probably do 12-16 hours straight but my dogs cannot go that long without going outside. One of the good things about having dogs and no yard is you have to actually go out with them and get some exercise. Keeps my gaming in line.
