COLUMBUS, Ohio --
He only came out of his bedroom to use the bathroom, to pick up some snacks in the kitchen, and to take a quick shower. Otherwise, 15-year-old Tyler Rigsby was locked in his bedroom, absorbed in an alternate reality: Xbox's Modern Warfare 3. His mom says he was in there for at least four days. Maybe five.
Nevertheless, it's bad parenting all around, she should have never let his gaming habits be so bad. I turn my sons ps3 off after only a couple hours and force him to do chores, clean up, go outside, etc.
who care what he was doing, will we start to say "Hitler Did Hate Crimes After Listening To Richard Wagner Music"??
in highschool i remember march break when the weather was really crappy and my friend lent me his PS2 and GTA:VICE CITY.. 5 days of non-stop gaming.. just stopped to get food and use the can. No shower but at least 7 hours of sleep per night..
this kid made the mistake of showering.. and was probably on caffeine
You do know that sleeping disqualifies you.
Kid collapses after 4 days of NO SLEEP!
Meanwhile the kid's Mom was down stairs smoking BATH SALTS and paid NO attention to her kid.
(I bet you he still sucks at MW3 and I also bet you the mom is gonna pawn his X360 to buy more Bath Salts)
Violent Video Game Shooter Kills Another!
Did we mention it was a Video Game??
Lazy Kids these days!!
And, yeah, remove the Xbox 360 from him instead of learning to parent better. Sounds like you solved the problem there! /s
Bad parents always blame something else for there negligence
"the xbox is gone" Well guess he'll be round his mates for 4 days at a time now then!
I have no idea how someone could stay awake for 4 days, I would pass out from exhaustion long before that.
But I don't go a full day, longest I can play is 8 hours then I switch to netflix but only on weekends.
What am i suppose to say now? Congratulations youre an idiot?
>_>
Tom:Aw man,Johnny died playing Skyrim.
Mike:And look at that,he was 56 hours in and all.Oh well,we better call his mom or something.
I Worried About My Self After That LOL
Well it says one thing about the Xbox. The RROD issue is fixed.
Frankly I blame the idiot kid more than the mother. He's old enough to know certain things are required to sustain life. Mom should make him watch while a sledge is taken to the Xbox.
It's sloppy parenting. However, they both made errors. Luckily no one got really hurt.
