Best Buy Gaming Blowout 2.0 clearance event info leaked

A couple of weeks ago Best Buy held a “Gaming Blowout” clearance event that places many games and accessories for $14.99 or less, and in many cases (for accessories) $1.99 or less. Rumors of a Gaming Blowout 2.0 surfaced earlier this week and appear to be confirmed for the week of 8/12, though not all the sale information is yet known.

Yep. Darkness 2 was a great game, even at $30 I would still recommend it.

Same, I hated the first one; it felt clunky and repetitive. However, I got Darkness II during the Gamestop sale a while ago, and am in love with it. Fluid, unique gameplay, colorful visuals, involving story... it's a real shame it was so overlooked. Hey, I blame myself as well. :P

Yeah, one interesting item on the list is the 160gb PS3. We know the new SKU is coming (probably at GamesCom), so they're probably clearing out stock before the new model gets to stores.

not all stores it was only 50 stores and that was it....it was even stated when this started that they were not closing all the stores....so u saying that its true is actually false

They closed more than 50 stores that were not performing ie bad location. I know of one store my neighbors didn't know existed because of the layout of the shopping center. They would drive 25 minutes farther because they just didn't know. That being said best buy also opened about 150 mobile stores. You may night like them as much as amazon or something else but if they do go I would bet amazons "deals" will not be there as much. Not to mention a brick and mortar store that employees people in your community is a lot better than you saving 10%.
