First Look Inside The Curse League Of Legends Beverly Hills Gaming House

The concepts of TV shows like “Big Brother” and “The Real World” are blending with the fast-growing phenomenon of eSports, or professional gaming. On August 10, Curse, Inc. will turn on the livestream feed for its newly leased $2 million Beverly Hills mansion and broadcast the lives of its five League of Legends pro gamers across the globe through own3D.tv. The Curse Gaming House will feature regularly scheduled livestreams, which the company hopes will make Curse one of the biggest content sources for gaming Internet programming worldwide.

Over the past few years, eSports livestreams have experienced rapid growth, making the medium the new battleground for gaming media companies. Riot Games’ League of Legends has catapulted to the top of the eSports space. Professional video game tournaments like the upcoming Gamescom stop of the Intel Extreme Masters will attract over 35 million viewers over the course of a few days.
