Borderlands 2 is '50-60% bigger' than the original

CVG- Evolution in technology has allowed Borderlands 2 to swell to about a "50-60%" larger game than the original, says Gearbox VP Steve Gibson.

Speaking in the latest issue of Games Master, Gibson said the scale of some of the sequel's cities simply wouldn't have been possible to include in the first Borderlands. (Borderlands 2, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

I really enjoyed the guns and sheer enjoyment that Borderlands brought me. A really beautiful world and full of people to shoot and things to loot! I have really high expectations for Borderlands 2. A bazillion guns doesn't sound bad to me! After watching the trailer I'd say its time for this game to release!

The first one is boring.

while the main game had a very boring story the game play was a lot of fun and kind of made it up for a bad story, but the DLC packs have really fun story so you should try them.

its great to see how gearbox grew as they released the main game and what they learned from their mistakes helped them make much better dlc packs

borderlands 2's testing team came back with 58hrs mark and that's how much time it too them to beat it once, but i hope gearbox introduces a clever twin on one plus because playing through the same exact game twice wasn't that great.

but anyway i am getting the loot edition and the special edition

that's how sequels are suppose to be improve and add new ideas, the jump from uncharted 1 to uncharted 2 was huge and i think we can say the same about borderlands 2 and darksiders 2.

Let's not forget sleeping dogs is also coming out next tuesday and from what i have seen this could end up being the sleeper hit of 2012

Borderlands and Darksiders both getting ambitious with their sequels regarding the amount of content compared with the originals. Coincidence that their releases are so close.

Darksiders 1 to 2 looks like a big improvement.
