Symphony Review (Proven Gamer)

Symphony is a horizontal & vertical scroll shooting game that creates its play from the music on your hard-drive. Like 2008′s Audiosurf, we see an algorithm busy at work using either your own personal music or one of the pre-selected songs to create the entry points for small flying craft to whizz through a contained arena in which you control your own ship with the express intention of sending the dirty invader pixels to musical hell. The game’s entire control scheme utilizes the mouse, which allows you to have precise movements that wouldn’t be achievable using a gamepad or keyboard. In fact, it gives the player the ability to just sit back and relax to the chilled style of sound if they so desire. (PC, Symphony) 5/5

Great review, the guy who wrote this piece is really spot on.

In all seriousness, pick the game up.
