Blizzplanet: Activision Blizzard Q2 2012 - Morhaime Transcript

Blizzplanet posted a transcript of the report spoken by Blizzard Entertainment CEO Mike Morhaime before the shareholders at the Activision Blizzard Q2 2012 financial results conference call.

In this transcript, Morhaime reveals plans to announce StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm beta soon. World of Warcraft subscriptions have dropped down to 9.1 million subscribers worldwide, but with the record sales of Diablo III copies this has been Activision Blizzard's best quarter ever.

Plans for Mists of Pandaria in China likely after Q3. Blizzard is awaiting approval from the Ministry of Culture of China. After the approval, there is a beta testing period prior to the official release.
