The Curse of the QTE

As the gaming industry has evolved, there have been changes in the framework of a successful game. Back when the 8 bit consoles reigned, the driving factors in development were gameplay and level design; platforming experiences that created a legion of loyal gamers. When a controller only had a D-Pad and four buttons, every input counted. (Culture, Industry, Resident Evil 4, Tech)
