Z1G: Favorite Game: Bayonetta

Z1G: It’s strange how a simple question such as “What’s your favorite game?” has been so hard to give an answer to. I’ve got a lot of games I love but choosing one as my favorite is such a commitment! What if the game I choose isn’t so great to others? Then its flaws would become mine and all my future actions would be judged based off of this seemingly small decision. I could choose some old and obscure game that only a few people will know about or I’ll have to describe it through the rosiest of rose tinted glasses and lead new players to disappointment with it. Or I could go with something modern even though gaming is a hollow shell of its former self and enjoying something made post 1997 is watered down casual fodder. We’ll screw it I’ll just go with Bayonetta.

one of the best action hack n slashers I've played, pure adrenaline ..one thing I didn't like was music, everything else was great ..I'm still waiting for Bayo 2 :)

I personally liked the music as it lent the game a unique style and feel that went along great with the character and her personality. But i can see why people didn't like it. It's a very different style of music then you would normally see in a game like that.

But yeah I really want a 2nd game and to be honest I'm surprised we haven't seen a sequel yet. I hope it wasn't a one off game that will never get a sequel. The world and character are to interesting not to explore further not to mention it has some of the best action combat ever.

Perhaps Bayonetta 2 could be a launch game for the next gen consoles or something. Either way I just want another game.

I loved everything about this game! The combat engine is one of the best I have ever used. Really hope for a second with even more depth to the combat!

Think a sequel is already in the works? Love the boss battles and the artwork and design is magnificent, didn't really mind the music but kind of dreaded the MTV dance sequence ending.. it's campy though so I guess that's part of the deal.

Fave game is Uncharted 2
