Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time Review | Gaming Examiner

Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time is the perfect swan song for the PSP, and since it’s also compatible with the PS Vita (which is what I reviewed this game on), it’s a perfect way for the JRPG-heavy attitude of the PSP to transfer over to its younger, stronger, brother.

So what exactly is Growlanser: WoT? At its core, it’s no different than most other SRPGs out there. It’s story-heavy, got a lovely anime art style, presented in a familiar ¾ overhead view, and has a battle system that involves the tried and true turn-based battles that we all know and love. The difference between Growlanser: WoT and most other SRPGs is in a couple of little things. (Growlanser: Wayfarer Of Time, PSP) 9.0/10
