Destructoid Preview: Hands-on with Mass Effect 3 on the Wii U

Destructoid:

The announcement of Mass Effect 3 being released on the Wii U was a pleasant surprise. I am definitely going to check out ME3 for Wii U. The whole option of having all your powers on the Wii Gamepad seems really nice. If your powers are very responsive to when touch the pad to activate them than this could be a really nice step up. One of the best parts about the PC version of ME3 is how easy it is to select your powers.

Playing solely on the WiiU probably seems "tighter" because the WiiU Gamepad Screen normally/always renders before the TV Screen renders.

Playing only on the Wii U gamepad means you have the latency introduced by the wireless transmission system that you have to deal with before you see the image. When sent to the TV, it goes over a (much faster) hardwired connection.

I don't see where you even get this info from about which screen renders first.

Because it was reported by a developer that Nintendo was able to get the latency between the WiiU and controller, even less than what it is between the TV and WiiU. Its very fast!
