Left 4 Dead 2′s new DLC campaign – Cold Stream, was supposed to be released last week on Xbox LIVE. However, after a no show, Valve took to Twitter to let everyone know that it was delayed indefinitely.
Sadface! Love my L4D2!
I'm downloading it right now, and it's free.
He's likely referring to the Steam version. Unless Valve somehow convinced Microsoft to not charge for what was supposed to be a free update. Edit: Wow, they actually did manage to convince them. Grats to the 360 folks.
You have to start up l4d2 and go to downloads to see it. I'm talkIng about the 360 version
all dlc is free on pc
I like how people jump to conclusions
It's stuck on 99%... Nooooooooooo
It's a shame they have to tango with Microsoft every time to get stuff like this released.
wow its free for the 360 and, yet, you find a way to hate. Why dont you play it in your playstaion 3 then. O that is right they are still dancing tango with sony.
Sorry, I had it a week ago on steam.
It being free is just a glitch.
Except it isn't at all free. And I spend less BUYING L4D2 than the DLC costs.
Stupid article. Its released on 360 today for free as promised. You have to access if from the game menu as its not on the marketplace yet but its available now for 360 for free.
We're updating it now. It never showed up on the DLC Marketplace on Xbox.com, so it was hidden.
Can anyone confirm actually getting the DLC without it freezing on them at 99%?
I just downloaded it, and now it cost 560 points like it was originally going to be
Well after my download reached 99% and then failed, I decided to try the mutation so I spawned into the map in a glitched position under the map took 10 steps and then died...
so i tried out the dlc on the 360 Playthrough 1: after the ridiculous path to the safe room in act 2 we can't end the level because ai coach and ai rochelle are glitched at the end of the sewer where the waterfall is Restart Campaign Playthrough 2: complete act 1 and as the stats are being posted it resets itself to the title screen
