"Earlier this week, darkzero was able to obtain an exclusive interview with the CEO of Ouya, Julie Uhrman. Interestingly enough, some people are willing to try new things.

I already have an android tablet and phone thank you. Nothing I see with Ouya tells me its something "New". All I see is another tablet / phone but this can be hooked up to a TV.

if this fool think that a litle box that's no better than a mid-range cell phone can compete with sony/ms/nintendo, she has another thing coming.

and once the hackers get their hands on it, they're going to ruin it for everyone or do nothing but make s****y emulators for s****y 30-40 year old games.

If you think this is supposed to directly compete with consoles, I'd say you were mistaken.

This seems like an android powered do-it-all kind of box. A htpc functioning, internet browsing, youtube machine hooked up to your TV at up to 1080p...

...and it plays games. If you game exclusively, buy something designed for it.

i have games on my iphone like infinity blade 1 and 2, dead trigger, epic citadel, shadowgun that look literally BETTER than 95% of all console games.

TukkerIntensity1450d ago

yep looking forward to this infinitely more than the next 360/PS3 or Wii. Indy devs are doing fresh interesting stuff - not just making the same AAA game over and over and over again.

Doesn't automatically make it a good idea or something.
