4 Upcoming Must-Play Strategy Games

BNR: 2012 is definitely going to be a strong year for strategy- we’ve got a new X-Com on the horizon, and we’ve also got plenty of interesting new games coming up fast- here are four strategy games (indie ones at that!) that you might have missed.

Uh, Tryst = "an appointment to meet at a certain time and place, especially one made somewhat secretly by lovers."

Haha, do the developers of that game even realize this? Seems like they think they made up the word or something because they think it reads and sounds like something potentially sci-fi.

Words can have more than one definition.

And words also have connotations. Certain definitions of words aren't as widely recognised as others. People largely associate the word tryst not with it's other definitions, but with the particular definition I mentioned.

What certain people think or believe does not change anything. It sounds more like ignorance on their part than anything else and I dont make excuses for that. The second I saw your post I knew there had to be more than one definition,I didnt know it to begin with but I educated myself before speaking. I am not sure why you are trying to argue that point in all honesty.
Just because you dont know something doesnt mean it suddenly doesnt exist.

The second definition is based entirely on the first, making the first extremely important.

Sure, the devs could have been going by the second definition, but the second implies the first, making it somewhat pointless to argue that they might have been using the second.

@Hicken, YOu notice it varies from the one he posted right? That is the point I was making. I am not sure why you felt the need to comment other than you didnt fully understand what was being said but if you look at his definition and mine CLEARLY you can see a difference. I'm not going to argue semantics. That's what people do when they cant admit they are wrong.

MY point is that the word just doesnt mean something between lovers.
