Nano Assault Re-Release Coming To eShop, Supports Circle Pad Pro

FanBolt writes: "Nano Assault EX was announced earlier this morning via Shin'en Multimedia's Twitter account. Nano Assault was originally released on the Nintendo 3DS as a retail title last December, and is now being re-released in digital form on the Nintendo eShop in Europe and North America. The initial release, a spinoff of their acclaimed Nanostray franchise, was met with favorable critical reviews. The new version is “based on the original release but with new game modes & options”."

believe me or not, but those are the best news for today (in gaming), I've waited for soo long of this game's announcement in Europe (no matter eshop or retail).. game has got lots of great reviews, graphics, which for me is better than Resident Evil 3ds..and other this: I just love shooters - shmups!!! we need more games like this and like Omega 5 (still waiting patiently for new on 3ds, hope it's not canned), Mushihimesama..pleaase, make some shmups for 3ds eshop in 3d, pleaaase!! :)

but still, I'm happy that at last I can buy it.. Shin'en are great devs who make good games and with good graphics on Nintendo platforms

Holy crap how do they keep that at 60fps in split screen.

Shin'en have always produced technically impressive games and it looks like they're keep up with that tradition here. Hopefully it plays as good as it looks... I think many of us need to scratch that F-Zero or Wipeout itch.

Third parties could learn a lot about developing great Wii U games from Shin-En.

Nevers0ft3152d ago (Edited 3152d ago )

It comes from a desire to hammer the hardware until it bleeds. Shin'en are ex demo-sceners from the Amiga and PC who went under the name Abyss: http://www.the-leaders-of-t... - similar to how some of the founders at DICE were members of The Silents, another Amiga demo group from the 80/90s: http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...

It's in their DNA to push the hardware as hard as they can :)

Nintendo should really let them develop a game for them
