I'd like to believe this but EA and innovation don't usually go hand in hand. I find they're usually more synonymous with plagiarism. Every time they say their innovating they copying stuff found in some other well selling game. Not that borrowing ideas is bad if it's an improvement but... EA.
Innovative probably means in game store?

Innovative you say. Alright I want see something innovative and not something that's already done by other shooters.

I think MoH: Warfighter's Multiplayer will be better than CoD-Multiplayer!
OneAboveAll  +   291d ago
That's not saying much. Any games MP is better than COD's MP. Fact.

I canceled my pre order

as soon as I found out about BF4 beta

Dice/EA tricked me into thinking they hated what COD became.
BS they love it!!!

EA was brilliant with BF3's marketing campaign, but they didn't fool me cause I understand marketing tactics. They saw the outcry against COD's rehash and outdated engine and then decided to tell fans they have this awesome new engine, with a cod killer in the making, all to attract the CoD fans attention, and to get Battlefield fans to diss on CoD so CoD fans will feel inferior. Now that they have some CoD fans they give them CoD DLC. So much for hating on CoD. lol

Makes sense, if you have a game that is different than CoD, which BF3 is, and you know you have taken some of CoD's player base through marketing, then yeah you would give them something they like, and that was Close Quarters. But the DLC so far has been Back to Karkland and Close Quarters, with Armored Kill coming soon. That's more Battlefield content then CoD style.

this game will be VERY nice and what's even better, we'll have access to the BF4 beta which is coming out on next-gen system... what a great combination... can't wait for October to come..

Lol "says EA"

Let's forget about EA for a second and think about what the industry's definition of "innovative" is. I know ours, or at the very least, mine, is an original concept never before seen in previous video games (exclusive to that form of media). However, claims of innovation from publishers and the like can be used to half-lie to gamers. Think how Battlefield 3 was supposed to have epic destruction 3.0 (as in never before seen levels of destruction, ever) due to Frostbyte 2, but nay, it's hardly there in comparison to BC2. We'll see if they stick to half-truths.

...And then they realized it was too innovative so they scrapped them immediately

meh DICE havent made a great MP game since BF2, hardly expecing them to flip MoH on its head this time around.

EA & Innovative?

lets not even start.
cyclindk  +   291d ago
...tossing three grenades simultaneously...

EA are magicians, truly..
WeskerChildReborned  +   291d ago
Hopefully they did cause i'm looking to pick it up.

How much innovation can we as gamers really expect to see in an FPS, I mean really. And if we as gamers aren't happy with the current lack of innovation then we need to look in the mirror, because it's us, not the publishers who make this happen. Publishers go with what is making them money and we continue to buy the stuff we claim we are tired of, all while publishers continue to laugh.
