You're not the only one. I'm super excited to play this game. I've always been totally against subscription gaming, but I've always said MMOs are kinda worth it if you really love the game (though I honestly think $15 a month is FAR too much). I think this game on PS3 is just MAY be the game that's finally "worth it" to me. If the game is a free download on PS3 though, I'm pretty sure they'll get at least a few months worth of subscription out of me.
Since it's going to decide whether I actually subscribe to a game for the first time in my life, the FF14 beta on PS3 is pretty much the most important beta/demo of my life. I hope between my Plus membership and the fact that I got and registered my FF14 beta application first thing after picking up FF13 at it's midnight launch, my chances getting in may be pretty good.
I wonder if Square still plans on honoring those FF13 beta invites? Man......that was SO long ago. ANd I noticed no one's mentioned it, and when I asked it on a recent FF14 PS Blog post (couple/few weeks ago?), that post was moderated out. I think they're hoping people forgot about that. I also think most people have forgotten about it.
Are all the maps still boring copypasta or did they actually take the time to create real landscapes? That alone would be a massive indicator of whether I would even consider logging in again.
someone need to asks them this question. I bought the game on release and went exploring in-game. after hours of roaming around i end up seeing the same hill shape, rivers, trees etc. If this is fix, ill be back in it for sure! : )
