Analyst Projects Low Sales For Medal of Honor: Warfighter
According to Forbes, Cowen Group's analyst Doug Creutz has painted a poor picture for Electronic Arts and its upcoming Medal of Honor: Warfighter title, resulting in EA's stock trading lower this morning.

Its sad but a lot of people just arent interested in it anymore. We need games that are new and unpredictable to buy not the been there done that kind :/
You don't need an analyst to tell you that. No matter how good the game is, everyone will see it as a low quality CoD ripoff (even though it was created first).
these are the same idiots that said BF3 would only sell 8 maybe 9 million copies and it went on to do 15 million. If it doesn't have CoD in the freaking title, then its ALWAYS doom and gloom to these retard analyst. Im sure this will be great success and slap the analyst in the face, just like BF3 did...
Seriously, what does medal of honour bring to the table that other games don't? BF3 stood out because of its graphics and teamplay. Medal of honour is just BF3 with close combat
I think MoH will do pretty good, maybe not as good as bf3, however it may be a huge success, if it can play smooth, has as good of graphics as bf3, and give some good fresh game modes.
I thought the new game was pretty good. It the lack of support dealing with some online issues was the worst part for me. Lack of maps and shitty spawn campers everywhere. This will be picked up down the road after release if they actually improved things we had issues with in the first game
It will sell over a million, probably by the time it has price cuts and Battlefield 4 rolls out next year it'll have 2+ million.
It comes out pretty close to Flroza Horizon and Assassins Creed 3 for me. I cant really afford another game right away, have the Collectors Editions of both those other games already paid for.
MOH looks good, and I'll eventually get it after a price drop, but the last game didn't exactly inspire confidence or make me believe that those games are worthy of a $60 price tag.
Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City came out during a slow time early in the year when there was absolutely nothing up against it. People were a bit stared for a new game. The Resident Evil name alone probably sold a good number of those copies.
Medal Of Honor looks good, but its going up directly against some great games, Assassins Creed 3 obviously being the biggie. I don't see MOH taking in a million on MOH this year. That is just my opinion on the matter though.
I'm just getting sick of modern military shooters. This gen modern military shooters is akin to WW2 shooters last gen. And no, the answer is not Near-Future Military Shooters.
Thank you, idiot analyst.
Couple that with the mediocre release of MoH1, and it wouldn't be surprising if it doesn't sell lots.
Lifetime sales id say 2.7 all together
