Why Google Fiber Will Change Gaming As We Know It

"One of the newest competitors in the internet service provider field is Google, who is beginning to roll out Google Fiber, an internet service that offers a mind-blowing 1,000 megabytes per second, 100 times faster than the average broadband speed. And, they’re offering these ridiculous speeds for only $70 a month. While there are many obvious upsides to this service, gaming in particular could see many benefits and changes on Google Fiber." -Trevor from Leviathyn.com. (Culture, Google, Industry)

"1,000 megabytes per second" Well if this is true, this will be amazing, I only have 30mb/s at the moment and this is fast. will be upgrading to 60 soon also.

We are communicating on the internet
So, yes, faster delivery for this means of interaction is always going to be big news.

Not just now, here, on the n4g website but in the areas brought up in the article (i.e. multiplayer, cloud gaming, etc.)

Ever the guy to have Playstation stuff in my mind - I can not help but think how awesome it would be to play the cloud gaming service Gaikai on google fiber and through and app on my online device (barring my device meets certain parameters of having the Gaikai app).
