Are Square Enix and EIDOS gearing up for a new Deus Ex game?
DSOGaming writes: "An interesting video popped up on YouTube, featuring Stephen Shellen who was the voice behind David Sarif in Deus Ex: Human Revolution."
(Deus Ex: Human Revolution, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)
On topic - I'm pretty sure they are, HR was good, but Deus Ex 1 was still the best game in terms of freedom imo. Hopefully they add more mods in the next game.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is one of the best video games sucking you into its great unique ambience; music, layout, NPCs' lines, decisions and actions. Make it next; how about more Cyberpunk Blade Runner ambience around next world war?
nope, being VERY close to some of the staff at Edios Montreal, all i have to say is.....dont wait for a new DeusEx because you know...... there's a THIEF in the building. ;D
art direction isn't as important as trying to actually live up to the original deus ex instead of being a knock-off. i mean the game is good compared to games nowadays but nowhere near as complex, atmospheric, or varied compared to the original. you can tell they had to cut back and make the game more linear and simplistic than it should be.
i doubt most gamers these days would even understand so i doubt many people agree with me on this website, gamers who enjoy things like mass effect 2/3 over the original. Linear corridor shooting with flashy set pieces and a few arbitrary upgrades/dialogue choices in between.
also i hope they fix the dumb ai as well as giving them varied states in stealth mode and perhaps even add a shadow and noise system for moving covertly.

Yes, because you and only a very select few are part of a very special group. Your group is much more intelligent than most others and your taste in gaming is so refined, questioning your opinion is blasphemy of the highest caliber.
Anyone whose opinion differs from yours is simply an uneducated moron.
Most gamers just simply don't understand your genius. Fools, sitting there playing games, having fun. Don't they realize just how terrible everything is?
Hope so. Deus Ex:HR was great fun, though, the way it presented the endings was terrible. And the boss battles... so tough if you were trying to go through the game with a mostly stealth-geared Adam. Hopefully they don't out-source those next time around.
Please make it that energy bars are used only for takedowns of multiple enemies or heavily armored ones. It was annoying when I saw a normal human but had to wait to recharge when Adam already has Gundanium hands that would render them unconscious with just a judo chop.
Stephen Shellen has been doing work with a website called TheTrutherGirls for awhile now. They are known for being conspiracy theorists. Shellen is just acting in this video, and it is part of a longer series that has nothing to do with Deus Ex.
Shellen looked like he is suffering from a mental illness in this video. Along with what I thought until now was that he may be out of work. So, he is working with a website called TheTrutherGirls? Interesting ... . The cluttered background with wooden boat paddles up against the wall. And his behavior, I assumed he was suffering mentally and financially.
Sure go ahead newest one but great, but if your going to do multiple endings again PLEASE make it based on the way I play and not a button choice at the end of the game that just really lazy and pathetic
I'd rather they did a new Legacy of Kain game to the same quality as they treated HR with before pumping out another Deus Ex game. It's nice to have a little variety in releases rather than just pumping out a sequel straight away because a game was well received. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see another, just I'd also like to see what they can do with some of the other Eidos properties they got in the buyout.

I was actually hoping the next Deus Ex game would be next gen though. The art direction of HR could look stunning on better hardware.

*sigh* I guess not.
BUT they better not dumb it down for the "ADD Generation."
human revolution was fantastic
..of course those boss fights were off tilt
I cannot wait to see what that team has for us next

Human Revolution was one of the only big games of 2011 that wasn't a disappointment.
They did a good job at returning the series to proper form. It had its issues, but it was still a damn good game that did a lot right.
