1: I think that would actually be pretty cool, well funny at least.

2: Why would any one seriously consider Hana over longtime protagonist Kiryu Kazuma, or popular recent characters like Shun Akiyama?

My only problem with them using the new Dante over the old one is the fact that the new Dante is born on multiple platforms. So he isn't in the slightest one of Playstation's "All-stars".

The Dante that Sony is known for is the Dante from DMC1-3. So this is clearly Capcom pushing the new Dante into the game for advertising purposes and Super Bot agreeing with it.

It would have made (infinitely) more sense to have DMC1 Dante, with unlockable costumes for every other Dante that followed (including DmC Dante).

As for people claiming the new Dante is "unpopular", that's not true. More gamers actually find the new Dante better and more suiting to the character (which I, a long time DMC fan*, completely agree with).

The only reason you don't hear from these people often is because they don't scour every DMC forum and video to post about it.

I'm kinda surprised they didn't put Lara Croft on their list. I know Tomb Raider appeared on the SS as well but the PS1 was the true start for TR success...And don't forget Tenchu Stealth Assassin or Nightmare Creatures Characters too.
