Four times the size! I spent 28hrs+ on the first one and I was using a guide, Darksiders II can't come fast enough.

just saw the Q&A vid stating the first area of DS2 is the size of the entire DS1!! I too used a guide to find the hidden secrets took me roughly 40 hours to platinum that bad boy can't wait to complete the fuck out of DS2 :))

2 weeks left cannot wait!

I kid, I kid. I have already pre-ordered it. I hope it is actually significantly better. I hate it when developers say their game is going to be 'X' amount of hours long and it is like half of that.

i think its hard for people and especially for the developers to put a length in hours on a game since most people play games differently i have friends who just run through the campaigns not bothering with side quests or hidden or stuff. Me on the other hand if I'm absorbed by the games world ill try and search nooks and crannies look at the backgrounds and even stare at the sky for a couple of minutes jus to get a feel of the world, which ends up taking more time then it really should.
